The game has a complicated story that`s well done, and the graphics have a certain retro look, that remind you of the classic adventure games of years ago. The soundtrack, totally original for Cave Story, is excellent, completing a full, solid game of the highest quality.
You get more powerful weapons as you pass the levels, and see how frenetic action and shooting takes place, mixed with more relaxed moments where you have to investigate, or talk with people, all mixed to perfection, without affecting the game development. It is always fluid and absorbing. Highly recommended!
